These two people are connected in a very important way; the understanding of emotions surrounding what it is like to live \/ have lived with an illness. The piece of work I have created represents the optimistic and wonderful experiences that can happen within life, even at the hands of suffering. It is a celebration of self-expression to be proud of one\u2019s whole self, even the incorrectly formulated parts.<\/p><p>I found myself intrigued by the illustrations of artist David Goodsell and felt compelled to see more of his beautiful creations depicting cellular structures. Then as I read the captions of what cell I was viewing, it dawned on me how many lives these picturesque, exquisite little cells have ruined.
